Hello, I’m Derek Philip-Xu and I’m an instructional designer and digital publishing consultant.

I am the founder and owner of Refreshing Publishing.

At Refreshing Publishing, I provide digital publishing, instructional design and project management services to a wide variety of educational and corporate clients throughout the world. These clients include international educational publishers, ed tech companies, corporates and non-profit organisations.

For over twenty years now, I've been involved in educational publishing, commissioning and developing eLearning courses for international markets. And now I'm taking all the knowledge and experience I've gained and putting it into my business, Refreshing Publishing.

Refreshing Publishing takes advantage of that experience, ultimately enabling me to develop and project manage high-quality, accessible and on-spec digital learning.
